Caroline Lee has done it again. Another awesome installment in the River's End Ranch series. By far my favorite book of the series, this one is unlike any of the others. Charley has been one of my favorite minor characters every time she's made an appearance and I've been waiting for her to finally have her story. And while I love all the authors in this series, I'm really glad that Caroline is the one to give Charley a voice. Charley always feels a little lonely and vulnerable to me when she pops up in other books, but also a little bad-ass too. I was happy to read her written pretty much the way I had imagined her in my head all this time. This is a must read for all RER fans of course and if you aren't an RER fan it can be read as a stand alone but do yourself a favor and read the other 23 anyway.
